Iedere eerste woensdag van de maand werken de mensen van Noorden Duurzaam samen. Vanaf nu in een mooi klaslokaal van de St. Franciscusschool in Groningen. Een mooie gelegenheid om elkaar te ontmoeten en te inspireren. De locatie biedt een prettige ruimte voor werkgroepen en andere overleggen. Het is ook een goede gelegenheid kennis te maken met Noorden Duurzaam.

QRA-berekenen? Doe het goed!

Je hebt behoefte aan een professionele collega, die samen met jou de ingevoerde parameters controleert en de finesses van de berekeningen met Safeti-NL kent. Je vraagt je af: is mijn aanpak juist? Kan de analyse eenvoudiger?

De sectie EV organiseert cursusdagen voor de beginnende en gevorderde risico-analist. De cursus is gericht op professionals die de cursus (of vergelijkbaar niveau) bij het RIVM hebben gevolgd en nu in de dagelijkse praktijk QRA's opstellen en/of controleren. Je hebt behoefte aan een professionele collega, die samen met jou de ingevoerde parameters controleert en de finesses van de berekeningen met Safeti-NL kent. Je vraagt je af: is mijn aanpak juist? Kan de analyse eenvoudiger?

Het maken van een kwantitatieve risicoanalyse (QRA) vormt de basis van het externe veiligheidsbeleid. Gezien de vele ontwikkelingen op dit vlak, is permanente educatie een van de pijlers van de professional. Doe je dit niet, dan dreigt in de waan van alledag de kwaliteit achteruit te gaan. Zo heeft een goede QRA een vaste uitkomst, maar worden rekenfouten in berekeningen niet altijd opgemerkt. De cursus sluit aan bij de VTH-kwaliteitscriteria 2.1 voor externe veiligheid.

De 2-daagse cursus 'QRA-berekenen? Doe het goed!' spijkert u helemaal bij. Doelgroep zijn professionals die minimaal één QRA hebben opgesteld. De VVM wil een platform bieden voor deze vragen en op de cursusdagen kun je je specifieke vragen (en ervaringen) kwijt.

Cursusdagen zijn 8 april en 22 april 2016.

Will it be another disappointment like Copenhagen, or will it be a step in the right direction? And how do we know that countries comply with agreements and commitments?

December 2014: Lima. December 2015: Paris. Insiders know: this is about the negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Others might wonder: UNFCCC? Paris? What is all the fuss about?

2015 will be a very interesting year, probably with lots of media reports on the ongoing climate negotiations. These two sessions should enable you to put what you read and hear in context, learning from experienced people in the field. You can sign up for individual sessions as well as for both.

This second session will look at the so-called Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs, formerly known as “pledges”). Parties will expectedly submit their INDCs no later than early autumn. What have countries put forward in these INDCs to contribute to tackling climate change? Is that sufficient for the 2°C target? If not, where are the opportunities to close the gap? How are commitments and national contributions evaluated?

Climate Footprint

Most human activities require energy and cause greenhouse gas emissions. We produce greenhouse gas emisions when we burn fossil fuels to drive our cars and heat our buildings. Emissions are also generated when we use conventional electricity to turn on the lights and power our airco's, computers and other appliances. For many organisations this is already the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions. And, indirectly, organisations also cause emissions when purchasing materials, when employees drive to work and when customers use the products produced.
